Bat Nha Pagoda celebrates Buddha's Birthday 2014

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 16, Bat Nha Pagoda in Quynh Xuan Ward (Hoang Mai Town) solemnly held the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony, Buddhist calendar 2558 - solar calendar 2014.

At the ceremony, traditional Phận ngày rituals took place such as: Flower offering ceremony for Buddha's birthday, chanting Buddha's name to pray for blessings, Buddha bathing ceremony, animal release ceremony, releasing doves and peace balloons. Most special was the Buddha bathing ceremony performed by monks, nuns and Buddhists in a solemn and respectful atmosphere. With joy, praying for everyone, every family to be safe and fulfilled in accordance with the spirit of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. This year's Buddha's birthday celebration at Bat Nha pagoda attracted more than 700 monks, nuns and Buddhists from neighboring communes and districts to participate.

On this occasion, Bat Nha Pagoda donated 10 million VND to the Hoang Mai Town Education Promotion Fund and 10 million VND to the town's fund for the poor.
