11 forest fires occurred in less than a month
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite good forest fire prevention work, due to hot weather, from April 25, 2012 to May 13, 2012, Nghe An province had 11 forest fires, with a burned area of 52.24 hectares, of which 33.33 hectares were forested.
Of which: Nghi Loc district had 1 crop, 25.98 hectares of pine forest were damaged; Nam Dan had 2 crops, 2.25 hectares of pine forest were damaged; Do Luong had 1 crop, 0.45 hectares of pine - acacia forest were damaged; Quy Chau had 4 crops, 1.85 hectares of bamboo forest were damaged; Que Phong had 3 crops, 3.2 hectares of bamboo forest were damaged.
