Currently, world oil prices have been, are and continue to have complicated developments. Therefore, in the immediate future, the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade requires businesses to sell oil at current prices, continue to monitor and update the situation of world oil prices; on that basis, the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade will have an announcement on appropriate financial management solutions.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade both denied rumors of an increase in gasoline prices and affirmed that, for now, there is no plan to adjust gasoline prices.
However, the joint ministries require that petroleum traders must strictly carry out petroleum trading activities in accordance with the provisions of Decree 84/2009/ND-CP dated October 15, 2009 on petroleum trading.
At the same time, it is required that key enterprises rectify the petroleum business activities in their distribution system (including the system of general agents and agents)... sell products on time, meet the demand for both quantity and type, ensure timely and sufficient supply of quantity and type of petroleum to the market, and stabilize the minimum level of petroleum circulation reserves in terms of both quantity and type structure.
