(Baonghean.vn) -Before the match against Ninh Binh at Vinh Stadium on Sunday afternoon, April 28, Nghe An people were excited by the news that Vinh Stadium would increase ticket prices, the increase was 10,000 VND/ticket at all gates. On the afternoon of April 26, General Director of SLNA Football Joint Stock Company Nguyen Hong Thanh confirmed that the above information was incorrect.

According to Mr. Thanh, Nghe An audiences will still be able to enter the stadium to watch V-League matches at the price listed from the beginning of the season without any price increase. Increasing Vinh Stadium ticket prices cannot be done just because you want to, but there must be a process, and it must be agreed upon by agencies, departments and sponsors before it can be increased. “Nghe An people are poor, but they have a burning love for football, because of their passion for football, many people have traveled long distances to Vinh Stadium on weekends. We understand and thank the fans for coming to SLNA and affirm that there is absolutely no increase in ticket prices,” said Mr. Thanh.

Students are still allowed to enter the stadium for free at stands C and D, but the organizers will have stricter management to avoid overloading and stadium collapse.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh also said that from the match against Ninh Binh this weekend onwards, the Vinh stadium organizers will change the management method in the C and D stands. Since last season, these two stands were opened for free for students to watch, but the large number of spectators and chaos caused the organizers to face many potential risks. From the next match, these two stands will still be opened for free, the target audience is still students, however, the organizers will issue invitations and send them to universities and colleges in the area.

From this invitation, organizations such as the youth union and student association will make a list of who can go to watch football matches with the aim of managing the number of fans well, avoiding the situation of too many people coming to watch and chaos while the seats in the stands are limited. If in the past, the audience only needed to show their student card to be able to enter the stadium, now, those who want to enter the stadium for free in stands C, D will need an invitation or confirmation from the university or college.
