Preparing for "Buddhist Cultural Week in Nghe An"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 6, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to listen to the progress and results of the implementation of the management and guidance for the organization of "Buddhist Cultural Week in Nghe An" from August 12 to August 18 in Vinh City. Comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, departments and branches gave their opinions on the activities of "Buddhist Cultural Week in Nghe An" such as scale, form, and organization time to suit the current situation.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Thai Van Hang identified this as a cultural activity taking place at a very sensitive time. Therefore, the preparation work must be very careful, especially the work of directing propaganda to the central and local press agencies about the activities of this cultural week.

Agree in principle to hold a press conference to publicize information on the content, purpose and significance of the "Buddhist Cultural Week". Assign press agencies to focus on promoting typical individuals and groups in Buddhist activities in Nghe An; Provincial Police ensure security and order before, during and after the Cultural Week; Nghe An Radio and Television Station organizes filming of activities and selects positive images to broadcast to serve the people and Buddhists inside and outside the province.
