Carefully prepare activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Truong Bon victory (October 31, 1968 - October 31, 2012)
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, October 10, in Vinh City, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with the Organizing Committee and a number of related sectors on activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Truong Bon Victory (October 31, 1968 - October 31, 2012).

After the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3684 dated September 25, 2012 and Plan 578 dated October 4, 2012 on organizing the Art Exchange Program and activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Truong Bon Victory, all relevant sectors actively implemented it with the national tradition of remembering the source of drinking water.
The Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Transport, Information and Communications, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, press agencies, and related units have effectively participated in the organization and propaganda stages. According to the program, on October 27, activities will take place, starting with the flower and incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Truong Bon Youth Volunteers martyrs by central and local leaders. Next will be the groundbreaking ceremony for the Truong Bon Martyrs' Temple, and the expansion and upgrading of Highway 15A from Nam Dan to Truong Bon. At 8:00 p.m. on the same day, the art exchange program "Truong Bon - legend and gratitude" will take place at the Provincial Labor Culture House, jointly broadcast live by Vietnam Television and Nghe An Radio and Television Station. During the exchange program, the leadership representative presented gifts to 13 relatives of martyrs, called for support from the whole country, and honored the sponsors of the construction of Truong Bon historical relic items.
Based on the comments from the sectors, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong concluded: this is a major event with the attention of 3 central agencies showing gratitude to the heroic martyrs of Truong Bon Youth Volunteers. He requested the assigned sectors to uphold their responsibility to prepare carefully, promote visual propaganda and strong mass media, creating an impression of "repaying gratitude".
