Carefully prepare the Groundbreaking Ceremony of VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park Project

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 31, at the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to deploy coordination work with VSIP Joint Venture Company to prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony of VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park - Urban Area & Service project.

Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Vinh City People's Committee, Hung Nguyen District and representatives of VSIP Joint Venture Company.

Overview of the working session.

VSIP Nghe An Industrial - Urban - Service Complex Project has a total area of ​​about 750 hectares, located in the Southeast Economic Zone. This is a joint venture project between Becamex IDC Investment and Industrial Development Corporation and the Singaporean Investor Alliance represented by Sembcorp Group.

Phase 1 of the project will be implemented on an area of ​​198 hectares of industrial land and 81 hectares of commercial and residential land with a total investment of about 76.4 million USD. The scope of the project is in the communes of Hung Chinh - Vinh City and Hung Tay, Hung Dao, Hung Nguyen Town of Hung Nguyen District.

To prepare for the project's groundbreaking ceremony on September 16, the Provincial People's Committee issued a document directing Hung Nguyen district to clear 48 hectares of land in Hung Tay commune, including about 39 hectares of agricultural land of the people and public land of the commune.

Leaders of departments, branches and sectors attended the meeting to prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony.

As planned, VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park Project will be started on September 16, 2015. The groundbreaking ceremony will be chaired by VSIP Joint Venture Company, the Provincial People's Committee will coordinate to support the implementation of the contents as requested by VSIP Company. The groundbreaking ceremony is expected to have about 648 guests. The Provincial People's Committee is responsible for coordinating with the diplomatic agencies of the two countries to invite the Singaporean Government to attend the event. Nghe An Electricity Company will support a 500 KW transformer station at the location of the ceremony. To prepare carefully and safely for the groundbreaking ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee will develop detailed plans to ensure security, road and aviation traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, health care, etc.

Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee said that this is an important project, so the subcommittee has coordinated with media agencies and event organizing companies to carefully and specifically prepare related content.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the sub-committees reported the results of the preparation work; representatives of VSIP leaders also made recommendations and proposals to coordinate the successful organization of the Groundbreaking Ceremony.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized: This is the 6th project of VSIP, having a particularly important impact on the economic development of Nghe An, with the meaning of welcoming the Provincial Party Congress... therefore, it is necessary to have a specific and thoughtful plan for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong concluded by emphasizing that the Project is of particular importance in the economic development of Nghe An, therefore, preparation work must be extremely careful and thoughtful.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that, after the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee Office issue a plan to implement the ceremony and send it to relevant departments, localities... for implementation and there should be a synthesis department to connect and operate the whole.
