Carefully prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony of Yen Xuan bridge across Lam river
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of September 29, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to discuss preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of Yen Xuan road bridge across Lam River, Nghe An.
Attending were leaders of the Department of Transport, Planning and Investment, Provincial Police, leaders of the District People's Committee, and police of Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen districts.

Yen Xuan Bridge was approved by the Prime Minister to be added to the BOT project of Vinh city bypass and National Highway 1 expansion section from South of Ben Thuy bridge - Ha Tinh city bypass in Official Dispatch No. 1666/TTG-KTN dated September 17, 2015.

After listening to the opinions of the departments and branches, and concluding the meeting, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the careful preparation of the Traffic Construction Corporation 4, departments and localities. To prepare carefully for the groundbreaking ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested CIENCO 4 to finalize the guest list to carry out related work. CIENCO 4 coordinates with departments and localities to ensure security and order, has a plan to arrange vehicles; organize the reception of the delegation carefully. Nghe An Television and Nghe An Newspaper have news articles promoting this event. In the near future, to speed up the construction progress of the project, the Provincial People's Committee will hold a meeting to discuss and resolve difficulties surrounding compensation and site clearance for the project.
Yen Xuan Bridge connecting Hung Nguyen District with Nam Dan District across Lam River was built during the French colonial period, mainly serving North-South trains, so the bridge corridor was only built 1.4m wide and mainly served some specialized vehicles of the railway industry to maintain and repair bridges and railways. Recently, due to the increasing travel demand of people between Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan District and Duc Tho, Huong Son District (Ha Tinh), the bridge corridor was repaired to serve rudimentary vehicles and motorbikes. Investing in and building a new bridge connecting the two banks of the Lam River is very necessary and urgent, solving the travel needs of people in the Lam River basin of the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh. |
