Preparing for the 10th Party Congress of Military Region 4

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 14, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 held the 11th Conference (9th term), concluding on additional tasks, policies, and leadership solutions to implement key tasks in the last 6 months of 2015; and approving the content of preparations for the 10th Military Region Party Congress.

Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 4, chaired the conference, and comrades in the Party Executive Committee of Military Region 4 for the 2010-2015 term attended the conference.

Evaluating the results of leadership in implementing tasks in the first 6 months of 2015, the Standing Committee, Party Committee, Military Region 4 Command and Party committees and commanders at all levels have led and directed comprehensively, synchronously, with focus and key points in all aspects of work; the goals, targets and tasks have been basically completed well, some contents have been completed excellently. The situation of agencies and units is stable and has developed relatively evenly and steadily; focusing on directing the preparation and organization of Party congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term, towards the successful 10th Military Region Party Congress.

Concluding the supplementary tasks, policies, and solutions for leadership in implementing the tasks in the last 6 months of 2015, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 focuses on leading and directing the strict maintenance of discipline and combat readiness; closely coordinating with forces to monitor, forecast, and grasp the situation. Continuing to consolidate and enhance the potential of the defense area; well organizing activities to celebrate holidays and major events, especially the 70th anniversary of the tradition of the armed forces of Military Region 4. Promoting the implementation of breakthroughs, especially in organizing forces, improving training quality, enforcing discipline, ensuring traffic safety, and logistics, finance, and technology. Focusing on completing the preparation and organization of the 10th Military Region Party Congress.

Comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 and Party Committee members of the military region exchanged experiences at the conference.

At the conference, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 approved the preparations for the 10th Military Region Party Congress (term 2015 - 2020) including the results of Party Congresses at all levels in the entire Military Region; preparations for the 10th Military Region 4 Party Congress; the reception and completion of the draft political report; personnel preparation; ensuring the task of protecting the Congress and some subsequent tasks.

Through the report on the preparation work for the Congress of Party Delegates of Military Region 4, it shows that the Document and Personnel Subcommittee of the Congress has fully prepared the contents according to the plan, approved by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 7 times, the Party Committee of the Military Region 5 times, and received opinions at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and opinions contributed by lower-level congresses.
