Preparing to open the 35th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee
The 35th session of the 13th National Assembly Standing Committee is expected to officially open in Hanoi on the morning of February 25.

Spending a lot of time on law-making, the National Assembly Standing Committee will discuss and give opinions on major issues with different opinions on the draft Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies; Law on Marine and Island Resources and Environment; Law on State Budget (amended); give opinions on the draft Law on Referendum; Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies and Law on Temporary Detention and Imprisonment.
At this meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on a number of important contents regarding the investment policy for the construction of the Long Thanh International Airport project; the draft plan for organizing the development of documents guiding the implementation of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly; and the plan for allocating government bond reserve capital for the 2011-2015 period.
The 35th session will close on February 27.
