(Baonghean.vn) - On April 2, the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the 70th Anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces (October 15, 1945 - October 15, 2015) held a conference to review and evaluate preparations for the Anniversary.

Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Military Region, Head of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee of the celebration chaired the conference, Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Military Region Command attended the conference.

At this time, the preparations for the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces' tradition were actively implemented by agencies and units, achieving good results. The Political Department directed agencies and units to do a good job of propaganda on mass media systems, organize the printing of documents on the Military Region's Armed Forces' tradition; coordinate with Vietnam Television to produce a documentary film on the Military Region's Armed Forces' tradition; deploy the Military Region's 2015 Mass Arts Festival Plan; develop a plan for a camp, display and exhibition of the outstanding achievements and initiatives of the Military Region's Armed Forces during the 70 years of building and fighting on the Great Wall; coordinate with Central artists to develop a collective singing and dancing performance to perform at the celebration. The construction of works to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces' tradition was actively implemented by agencies and units.

Up to now, 56/70 celebratory works have been completed and put into use; well-prepared plans for physical training and sports activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces tradition day.
