Prepare content for the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year Celebration between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang

(Baonghean.vn)-To unify the content of the programs of activities to celebrate the Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2012 between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces, this morning, April 13, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province worked with the delegation of Xieng Khouang province - Lao PDR, led by comrade Duong-chit Chang-xay-vang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Governor. Attending the meeting were leaders of provincial departments and branches.

Delegations from Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces agreed on the content of the commemorative program.

To practically celebrate the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2012, Nghe An province has and will carry out many practical activities such as: Helping our friends build Phon Xa Van high school; supporting rice and corn seeds and organizing training for agricultural and forestry officials of Xieng Khouang province; supporting the repair of the Laos-Vietnam memorial. In the near future, Nghe An will send a high-ranking delegation to visit and work in Xieng Khouang to concretize the programs of coordinating commemorative activities. Nghe An will also send an art troupe to perform in Xieng Khouang; organize a contest to learn about the history and culture of Laos and Xieng Khouang; organize an investment promotion conference in Xieng Khouang; help our friends build a cultural and sports center; coordinate to name a road in Phon Xa Van town as Xieng Khouang-Nghe An friendship road.

At the meeting, Vice Governor of Xieng Khouang Duong-chit Chang-xay-vang thanked Nghe An for its support in the spirit of solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation towards Xieng Khouang, and agreed on the program and plan that Nghe An province will implement in the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2012. The two sides also discussed in detail and agreed on the content and schedule of commemorative activities in Nghe An and Xieng Khouang.
