Prepare well the conditions for the grassroots congress

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 6, under the chairmanship of comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Standing Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee held an online meeting with secretaries of district, city, town Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees to hear about the implementation of tasks in February and deploy tasks for March 2015.

Attending the conference were comrades Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Following the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, in February, all sectors and levels have performed well the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security. Immediately after the Tet holiday, all sectors and levels quickly took action to promptly and effectively implement their tasks. Localities in the province focused on timely industrial production and proactively prevented pests and diseases. Indicators of industrial production, services, and investment attraction all increased compared to the same period. Stabilized consumer prices, goods before, during, and after Tet. In addition, all levels and sectors have implemented activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate the Spring of At Mui 2015. They paid attention to taking good care of Tet for people with meritorious services, the elderly, and poor households; allocated nearly 3,350 tons of rice to relieve hunger during Tet. The total budget from the state budget and support from organizations and individuals to take care of Tet for families with books, poor households, and social protection beneficiaries is 288 billion VND.

Immediately after Tet, agencies, units and localities in the province organized the launching ceremony of the Tet tree planting festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho - Spring At Mui". National defense and security were maintained and stabilized, no hot spots occurred, ensuring that people could enjoy Tet, welcome spring safely, economically, and create trust among the people. The province organized major events such as meeting foreigners in Nghe An; for the first time, the province organized a meeting with overseas Vietnamese from Nghe An returning home for Tet; especially the conference to meet investors in Spring At Mui was successfully organized by the province with many large-scale projects signed and granted investment certificates, some projects were implemented right after this conference, creating a bright spot in attracting investment. Party building work achieved many results, in the month, 244 new party members were admitted.

He requested that localities urge leaders to lead production and business, create momentum right from the beginning of the year, each district, city and town select key projects to focus on directing completion and putting into use to welcome the Party congresses at all levels; Localities need to focus on directing successful congresses, draw experience to direct mass congresses, and prepare well for the conditions for congresses at the grassroots level: complete documents early, with quality, personnel plans, propaganda work, security, and resolve pressing issues at the grassroots level.
