Best preparation for flood control in Vinh City and Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen districts

(Baonghean) -The development of storm No. 3 shows signs of unpredictability, with the possibility of heavy rain causing widespread flooding in Vinh City and crops in Hung Nguyen and Nam Dan districts. Currently, Nam Irrigation Company has made a list of additional personnel for Ben Thuy sluice, 15 people, and Hung Chau pumping station, 14 people, ready to be present when ordered.

Updating the developments of storm No. 3, Mr. Thai Van Hung - Head of Technical Department of Nam Irrigation Company said: It is expected that after the storm, around 2-3 am tomorrow morning (July 31), Ben Thuy drainage sluices will be opened. In case the Lam River water level is high, the order to operate the Hung Chau and Hung Dao pumping stations will be requested.
