Happy International Day of Older Persons (October 1)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 1, 2014, the leaders of Hung Nguyen district, led by comrade Hoang Van Phi - Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, came to present flowers to congratulate the District Elderly Association on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of International Day of Older Persons (October 1).

Over the years, the Elderly Association of Hung Nguyen district has promoted its role and responsibility in implementing the emulation movement "Elderly people set good examples" in many fields, making an important contribution to building cultural, economic and social life, developing education, participating in maintaining political security, social order and safety, mobilizing the elderly to join hands in building "new countryside", organizing production and business, improving family life.

Through the movement, many typical examples of the elderly actively participating in social activities, living exemplary lives, setting good examples for their children and grandchildren to follow, and actively contributing to the overall achievements of the province have emerged.
