Euro 2016 Final: France maintains highest security level
According to Xinhua News Agency, French President Francois Hollande on March 29 pledged to increase security for the Euro 2016 sporting event to be held in the country next June.

Speaking during a visit to the National Institute of Sport and Performance (INSEP), President Hollande said: "Security will be maintained at the highest level. It is a duty of the government towards those who choose to come to France next June and we will never compromise on principles."
According to the plan, the European Football Championship - Euro 2016 will take place in 10 cities in France from June 10 to July 10. The Euro 2016 Organizing Committee said that tickets for 51 matches have been sold out and special areas for fans have been prepared to welcome more than 7 million fans of this "King sport".
Regarding concerns about the risk of terrorism following the terrorist attacks in Paris last November and the recent attacks in Brussels, President Hollande added that "sports is always a measure to answer terrorism." He affirmed: "We have never considered the possibility of postponing or cancelling Euro 2016"./.
