Miss Vietnam finals do not invite international singers to perform
Ho Ngoc Ha is the only A-list singer of the night. The reigning Miss Do My Linh and runners-up Ngo Thanh Thanh Tu and Huynh Thi Thuy Dung will reunite in a performance before the bikini competition. This is the first time the Top 3 of Miss Vietnam 2016 will show off their dancing skills in public.
The final night of Miss Vietnam 2018 will take place at 8:15 p.m. on September 16 at Phu Tho Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City. In previous seasons, the organizers invited Kelly Clarkson (USA) and Bi Rain (Korea) to perform in Vietnam to create attraction. However, this year, this category was cut to focus on the contestants.

Director Hoang Nhat Nam said that the layout of this year's final program was neatly arranged instead of being showy like previous Miss Vietnam seasons. The stage was designed to be open following the motif of international beauty contests, creating a comfortable vision for both contestants and audiences.
The lighting theme was partly inspired by the projectCarry electricity to the village,once helped Do My Linh win the Miss Charity award at Miss World 2017. "My Linh brought electricity to light up the people of Cu Vai village. The light she brought was not simply industrial light but the light of compassion," the director shared.

The opening act, performed by the Top contestants of the Talented Beauty category, is a combination of singing, dancing, and acting skills. Through the act, the organizers want the contestants to have the opportunity to express themselves and their passion. The projects of the Kind Beauty will also be shown on stage so that the audience can look back on the journey of spreading happiness of 42 young girls.
This year's final night, the organizers will apply the form of direct elimination of contestants. From 43 contestants, after the Ao Dai competition, the judges will choose 25 contestants to continue to the swimsuit competition. Contestants in the top 15 will perform in evening gowns, then select the Top 10 and Top 5 for the behavioral round. In addition to the beauty queen and two runners-up, the organizers will award subsidiary prizes: Miss Sea, Miss Charity, Miss Sports, Miss Fashion, Miss Tourism, Miss Media... The program will be hosted by four MCs: Runner-up Thuy Van, Runner-up Diem Trang, Vu Manh Cuong, Tuan Tu.
