Transferring 490.62 hectares of rice land to implement a project in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 3, the Prime Minister issued Document No. 789 /TTg - KTN on changing the purpose of using rice-growing land to implement projects in Nghe An province.

The Prime Minister's official dispatch agrees to allow Nghe An province to convert rice-growing land area to implement the project.

Accordingly, considering the proposal of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Official Dispatch No. 1762/BTNMT - TCQLDD dated May 8, 2015) of the People's Committee of Nghe An province (Official Dispatch No. 335/UBND-DT dated May 28, 2015) and the opinion of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Official Dispatch No. 4122/BNN-TT dated May 27, 2015) on changing the purpose of using rice-growing land to implement projects in Nghe An province, the Prime Minister has the following opinion:

1. Agree to let the People's Committee of Nghe An province decide to change the purpose of using 490.62 hectares of rice-growing land to implement the VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Service and Urban Park Project as proposed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the People's Committee of Nghe An province stated in the above official dispatches.

2. The People's Committee of Nghe An province directs the implementation of the above-mentioned conversion of rice-growing land use purposes in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 42/2012/ND-CP dated May 11, 2012 and No. 43/2014/ND-CP dated May 15, 2014 of the Government.
