US expert raises serious problems of Ukraine's Armed Forces
The shortage of personnel poses such a great threat to the Ukrainian Armed Forces that even the support of allies is unlikely to improve the situation, The Washington Post writes, citing the opinion of former US Marine Rob Lee.
“The human resources situation is becoming an increasingly pressing issue. And without a solution, the aid package will not solve all of Ukraine’s problems,” the veteran said.

The publication recalls that last week the Armed Forces of Ukraine withdrew from three villages at once in the east of the Donetsk region, which shows the deep problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are now forced to choose between sacrificing people or territory.
Military campaign in Donbass
Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. President Putin called its goal "to protect those who have been subjected to repression and genocide by the Kiev regime for the past eight years." He noted that the special military operation was a forced measure, Russia "has no other options, the security risk has been created to such an extent that it is impossible to respond with other measures."
According to him, Russia has been trying for 30 years to come to an agreement with NATO on the principles of security in Europe, but in response, Russia has been faced with either cruel deception and lies, or pressure and blackmail, while the alliance, despite Moscow's objections, has gradually expanded and approached the borders of the Russian Federation.
