“I think that this statement may be related to the exercises that have been held and will be held in the future. In the news program, in one way or another, there are messages marking the events of the exercises related to the threat to Russia, including the exercises that took place in Norway. Obviously, all this is part of the military media campaign. In this case, Norway did not initiate such statements on its own, it is part of a systematic picture from London and Washington,” the Russian expert said.
However, Mr. Asafov noted that war in Europe is indeed possible.
However, it may not happen on the fronts that NATO propagandists see. War is possible with further escalation around the situation in Serbia and Kosovo. But the animosity will continue to grow, and all this should be seen as a big PR campaign to justify the need to strengthen NATO," Alexander Asafov concluded.
Earlier, the head of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense said that the possibility of starting a war in Europe "is no longer unthinkable".
