American expert Kyle Mizokami on the Foxtrot Alpha portal assessed the new Russian drone, designed to intercept enemy UAVs.

The author notes that the device is equipped with a carbine "Vepr", which becomes a formidable weapon in the fight against drones, because this weapon is much more dangerous than conventional ammunition.

The drone's flight time is about 40 minutes, and it is capable of vertical take-off and landing.

At the same time, Mizokami called the new product of the Russian military-industrial complex a "flying nightmare" and noted that UAVs can also be used to destroy enemy manpower.

"The terrible war has already begun. Now add to that thousands of flying robots with automatic guns," the American expert concluded.

In an interview with Sputnik, expert from the Center for Military-Political Journalism Vladimir Rozhin commented on the article.

Now many countries are testing UAVs, for example China - with models of bomber drones.

Western analysts following the developments of the Russian defense industry have noted some progress in the development of various types of Russian UAVs: heavy attack, reconnaissance, and UAVs designed to intercept small enemy drones, conduct surveillance, or carry out tactical strikes.

These drones, according to him, are of particular interest. "The very direction of development of this type of weapon suggests that, along with reconnaissance and strike means, defense equipment will also be studied. Weapons adapted for destroying drones, or individual anti-UAV guns, are also actively being created in Russia," the military expert said.
