Hanoi Police Club introduces new coach

On the morning of January 16, Hanoi Police Club had a signing ceremony and introduced the head coach - Mr. Kiatisak Senamuang.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, coach Kiatisak said: ''I am very honored to be at the Hanoi Police Club to take on the position of head coach. With quality players, along with the position of the reigning champion, I want to develop the Hanoi Police Club, with the goal of bringing the team into the top 3 of the V-League, or further, winning a ticket to the AFC Champions League, facing strong teams from Japan, Korea or Saudi Arabia.

With the people of the capital, we can have more fans, attract fans from other provinces, have more fans from Southeast Asian countries in general and Thailand in particular. I thank the club for the trust in me, want to encourage the whole team to play their best. When playing well, the club will have a large number of fans.

He also added that the team's achievements are a gift from the club to the fans: ''The club will build a beautiful style of play and aim for 3 points, have achievements, develop and nurture young players for the Vietnam national team, join hands to develop the capital's football, and reach out to the international arena.

Talking about the pressure of being the 5th coach to sit in the "captain" chair of the club, Mr. Kiatisak affirmed: I am not under any pressure, I know the players here are very good. I want to help them become better. They have experience in fighting. I will help them improve their techniques, adapt to all opponents. The players and I will focus 100% on the club.

I will try to help Hanoi Police Club attack and defend well, play comprehensively and improve overall. We understand the club's goals and will do our best to achieve them. Each coach has his own philosophy. I want Hanoi Police Club to play beautifully, technically, and attract more fans. Winning or losing is not important, but playing beautifully to gain more fans.

Assessing the situation of the Hanoi Police Club's force, the Thai strategist said: ''To me, the Hanoi Police Club players such as Quang Hai, Van Hau, Van Duc, Van Thanh all have good techniques, have played or are playing for the national team. I want to pass on my experience to help them''.

Coach Kiatisak will have in his hands a force similar to Hoang Anh Gia Lai in 2021, even more perfect. Zico Thai is a coach who favors the school of dedicated football, with Quang Hai, Van Thanh, Ho Tan Tai, Le Pham Thanh Long, Geovane in hand, it is expected that Hanoi Police will be a team worth watching in the coming time.

After playing football in Vietnam for Hoang Anh Gia Lai from 2002-2006, and having a period of time leading the mountain town team from 2020-2023, coach Kiatisak has somewhat understood the people, football, culture, and even the personalities of Vietnamese players. That is also the reason why coach Kiatisak currently has more advantages than Mr. Mano Polking, who previously failed miserably in the V.League when leading Ho Chi Minh City Club.

During his football career, Kiatisak won two consecutive V.League championships with Hoang Anh Gia Lai in 2003 and 2004. However, as a coach, Zico Thai still lacked luck. If the 2021 V.League had not been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he would have likely lifted the V.League championship title with Hoang Anh Gia Lai. Two years later, when Hoang Anh Gia Lai gradually weakened due to the departure of a series of key players, the dream of winning the V.League became more and more distant. Now, with the opportunity to take over a team with financial potential, personnel and a great squad of players like Hanoi Police, coach Kiatisak will continue to light up the dream of winning the V.League after many years of waiting./.
