CMC invests heavily to increase international Internet speed
CMC Telecom announced on December 19 that it has doubled its international bandwidth to meet customers' demand for high-speed Internet access.
According to CMC Telecom, this international connection is opened via the AAG submarine cable - the largest international connection currently, increasing CMC Telecom's total international capacity to about 20 Gigabits (Gbps).

Also at this time, along with Viettel and FPT, CMC Telecom also participated in a cooperation investment of millions of USD to build the APG submarine cable line, an important telecommunications project of the Government.
This is the largest cable line in Asia with a length of 8,000 km, connecting Vietnam with countries and territories such as China, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore.
When APG is completed in 2014, CMC Telecom will receive dozens of Gbps more from this submarine cable line.
This investment will help CMC Telecom have international connections on all submarine and land cable directions to respond in any case of incident on any route while still ensuring customers access at a safe level.
Currently, CMC Telecom has more than 10,000 corporate customers and more than 50,000 household customers in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. This unit is also deploying infrastructure to be ready to provide services in Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa and Hai Phong./.
