According to CNN, the above tape was recorded by a local resident while on a video call at the time of the shooting. Sounds from the recording show that the white police officer fired 6 shots, then fired 4 more.

This is different from the information published on August 18 in the New York Times saying that the victim Michael Brown was shot 6 times, including 2 shots in the head and 4 shots in the hand. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has refused to comment on the authenticity of this recording.

Meanwhile, protests continued in Ferguson. On the same day, August 26, more than 100 people marched, demanding the arrest of the police officer who shot and killed Brown, Darren Wilson. Protesters also demanded a "change of blood" in the local police force.

The US Justice Department is conducting a separate investigation, while local courts are also continuing to collect evidence to determine whether the police officer who shot and killed Brown, Darren Wilson, abused his power.

There have been conflicting reports about the cause of the incident. According to a witness who is a friend of Brown, the officer pulled out a gun and shot Brown despite his hands being raised in surrender. On the contrary, the police claimed that Brown attacked and tried to grab the weapon, forcing the officer to open fire. Darren Wilson, 28, has been in the force for six years and has been on leave since the shooting.

This murder has sparked a wave of protests not only in the town of Ferguson with 21,000 people, mainly black people, but also in many cities in the US, candlelight vigils have taken place with the participation of thousands of people praying for Brown and the innocent black people who were killed by police guns.

US President Barack Obama has also had to speak out twice to call for people to stay calm and restrained to avoid more heartbreaking incidents./.
