Girl with purulent meningitis needs help
(Baonghean) The couple Bui Thi Mai Thu and Phan Sy Hung in Tien Chinh hamlet, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district have three daughters. The difficult life in the poor mountainous countryside cannot prevent the boundless happiness of the parents when their beautiful children cry out one after another when they are born. The couple works hard in the fields to take care of their children. Everything would be fine if the life of the youngest daughter Phan Thi Van Ly was peaceful in that poverty and hardship.
At the age of 1, Ly had a high fever. When she went to the doctor, she was diagnosed with purulent meningitis and was referred to Hanoi for treatment. They ran around everywhere, sold everything they could, and even mortgaged valuable assets to treat their child, but due to lack of resources, they could only manage for nearly a year. They had to reluctantly take their child home. From then on, Ly could only lie in one place, unable to move or see anything, and everything was very difficult.
Although he is 6 years old, he only weighs about 13kg. Every time the weather changes, he has convulsions and cries out. Looking at his child, Mr. Hung and Ms. Thu can only hold back their tears, helpless because they cannot afford to buy medicine. Their debt has reached 50 million VND. Their small house and buffalo - their most valuable assets - have also been mortgaged to the bank. They also have to raise two young children who are still in school (the eldest daughter is in 6th grade, the second daughter is in 1st grade), the whole family only depends on a few acres of rented rice fields.
Now, the family's greatest wish is to be able to treat their child as much as possible. We look forward to the help of organizations, groups and philanthropists.
