(Baonghean.vn) - With the trick of depositing 500 USD to do the initial procedures, then paying the remaining amount as agreed when sending the notice of having an order. But time and time again, hope and then anxiety, many workers still cannot go to Taiwan to work despite having deposited a large amount of money. That is the situation of many families in Nghe An after believing the sweet words of Dang Khac Hung, Director of the Labor Export Center at 60 Dao Tan Street, Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City.

In March 2011, Mr. Luu Van Truong in Hamlet 5, Nam Giang Commune (Nam Dan) went to the Labor Export Center at 60 Dao Tan Street, Quang Trung Ward (Vinh City) to meet Dang Khac Hung (born in 1977, residing in Phong Hao Hamlet, Hung Hoa Commune, Vinh City) to complete procedures for his son Luu Van Dung (born in 1990) to go to Taiwan for work. According to the agreement, when completing the procedures, each person had to pay a deposit of 500 USD, and when the visa was issued, an additional 5,500 USD had to be paid.

On June 20, 2011, Mr. Hung informed Mr. Luu Van Truong that Dung had a visa and an export order to Taiwan, and the family had to pay 5,800 USD. However, after more than 6 months, Mr. Luu Van Dung still had not been able to go to Taiwan. Disappointed and tired of traveling a lot without any results, Mr. Truong decided to ask for the money back. On December 14, 2011, he was given a written notice to return the money on January 14, 2012. On January 14, 2012, he arrived, Hung made another appointment on January 17, but on January 17, 2012, when he and his wife came to see him, Hung once again wrote a written notice...

Mr. Truong was upset: "During Tet, my son had no job, the whole family depended entirely on the salt cart of the couple, so the family's situation was extremely difficult... On top of that, every month we had to "work our butts off" to earn 1,950,000 VND to pay the bank interest."

Like Mr. Truong, Mr. Duong Duy Giap in Hamlet 7, Nam Linh Commune (Nam Dan) also borrowed 130 million VND from the bank with an interest rate of 18%/year to take care of his daughter, Duong Thi Hoa (born in 1991), who was working in Taiwan. After depositing 10,300,000 VND to complete the documents and procedures, on June 21, 2011, Mr. Hung informed his family to pay another 5,800 USD to fly, but by September 2011, there was still no order.

To get the flight quickly, Mr. Giap also gave another 100 USD but also promised many times that the trip and return would be difficult and expensive, but the result was still nothing. After asking people to pursue him, Hung has now paid him 45,000,000 VND. Hung also promised to pay the remaining amount to his family. But the debt repayment was postponed every month...

Luckier than Mr. Giap and Mr. Truong is Mr. Nguyen Van Hien, residing in Hamlet 5, Nghi Van Commune, Nghi Loc. Mr. Hien arranged for his daughter Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong to go to Taiwan to work in electronics. When the plan for his daughter failed, Mr. Hien had to go to Vinh "several times" to meet director Hung to ask for money for the family and was able to get 124,400,000 VND (equivalent to 5,500 USD). Although he is considered luckier than many people, Mr. Hien is still very upset because compared to the amount of money he spent, he still lost nearly 50 million VND but his dream of working abroad did not come true.

In response to many people's complaints, reporters have contacted Dang Khac Hung many times, but Hung has always avoided them. Even over the phone, Mr. Hung challenged them, "I'm not afraid of going to the investigation agency, so the press has nothing to be afraid of to avoid meeting me..." At the company Hung rented at 60 Dao Tan Street, many people there said that Hung often has many debt collectors, so he rarely comes to the agency, and if he does, it's only briefly in the late afternoon.

Whether or not there are signs of fraud at this Labor Export Center is something that people are waiting for the authorities to intervene.
