Girl sings Vi Dam to refuse drinking alcohol, causing a stir in the online community

In recent days, the Nghe An fanpage shared a clip of a girl singing the Vi Dam folk song, making everyone extremely excited. Immediately, this girl was identified as Phan Thi Anh (born in 1996), from Van Thanh, Yen Thanh. Anh is currently a student at the Central University of Art Education.

Talking to Anh, we learned that the clip was filmed by a friend on Tet holiday. At that time, Anh went to her friend's house to visit and had a meal there. When everyone asked her to choose between drinking or singing, Anh chose a folk song.

“There were adults around at the time, so I chose this song. This song is quite popular and liked by many people because of its meaningful lyrics, deeply rooted in the hearts of Nghe An people,” Anh said.

The clip was posted on social media and quickly attracted people. Regarding this, Anh felt very surprised when her performance was loved by many young people.

Anh said that since childhood she has lived in love with the folk songs and folk songs of her hometown Nghe An. Therefore, she was determined to pursue her passion for folk music.
