Russian girl leads prostitution ring in Vietnam
Elena brought many foreign girls to Vietnam for tourism, then found them to sell sex for 6-20 million VND.
On January 25, Ho Chi Minh City police arrested Prokofeva Elena (28 years old, Russian nationality) for the act ofProstitution broker.

Previously, the Anti-Social Evils Team (Team 6, Ho Chi Minh City Police) and other forces simultaneously raided hotels on Calmette Street (District 1), Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (District 3)... catching red-handed 2 Ukrainian girls, 2 Russian girls "having sex" with guests. The activities of these people have been monitored by the police for a long time.
From the girls' statements, the police arrested Elena on charges of leading and brokering these prostitution activities.
Elena is said to have admitted to her actions, and the ring has been operating for over a month now. Through Zalo, Facebook, Instagram... Elena got to know the group of women, sponsored them to travel to Vietnam and sell sex. Customers who want to be "served" for an hour have to pay about 6 million VND; 10 million for 5 hours; 20 million for a day...
The prostitutes gave Elena 50% commission from the money they collected. By the time she was arrested, she had earned 150 million VND.
The case is under further investigation by the police.
