According to the investigation results: At 2:00 p.m. on November 6, Tien had a Thai knife in his pocket and went to a rented room in Ward 3, Chanh Nghia Ward (Thu Dau Mot City) to rob property. There, the subject saw Ms. Tran Thi Diem Kieu (28 years old, living in Vinh Long) alone in the rented room, so he pretended to ask for someone.

Taking advantage of Ms. Kieu's lack of vigilance, the suspect rushed into the room and locked the door. Not stopping there, the suspect held a knife to her neck and threatened to kill her, demanding that she hand over her money and phone.
