Elementary school teacher devoted to students

(Baonghean) - Loving students, dedicated to her profession, always concerned with each lecture and each lesson plan; teacher Phan Thi Quyen, Quynh Hau Primary School (Quynh Luu) is an exemplary teacher with many achievements in her career of educating people.

In 1996, after graduating from Nghe An Pedagogical College, Department of Primary Education, with a good degree, teacher Phan Thi Quyen was accepted to work at Quynh Hau Primary School. Overcoming initial difficulties, she strived, self-studied, improved her expertise, and boldly applied modern, highly scientific teaching methods that were suitable for students' psychology. Each of her lectures brought joy and excitement to the students. "I always consider students as my own children, especially those with difficult family circumstances and students with talent but not yet had the conditions to develop, to help them progress and become good students," Ms. Phan Thi Quyen shared.

Her efforts and hard work have been duly rewarded. For many consecutive years, the school board has trusted her to organize training for the excellent students of grade 5 and to be the head teacher of the school's high-quality class. Her students have achieved proud achievements in every competition; every year, the team of excellent students at the provincial level always achieves from 80 to 100%. Among them, there are quite a few students who have achieved valedictorians and First, Second, and Third prizes. In the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school years, the district-level Math Olympiad for children team trained by Ms. Quyen won 4 First prizes, 5 Second prizes, and 6 Third prizes in the provincial competition. Teacher Hoang Thi Thanh Mai - Party cell secretary, Principal of Quynh Hau Primary School said: "Although her family's circumstances are still difficult, comrade Quyen has overcome many difficulties to complete her tasks well and has made many contributions to the movement to improve the quality of teaching and learning, especially the movement to foster excellent students".

With her own efforts and struggles, teacher Phan Thi Quyen has been awarded many titles: 3 consecutive years as a provincial-level emulation fighter; in 2012, she was recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training as a "National-level excellent teacher"; 3 times as a provincial-level excellent teacher and 13 consecutive years as an excellent teacher, a grassroots-level emulation fighter; 2 times as a level 4 experience initiative in the province and many times as a level 3 experience initiative in the district. She is also one of the 3 advanced models of Quynh Luu district to be awarded a certificate of merit by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee in 2 years of implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to "promote the study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".
