Internship opportunities in Israel for dozens of Vinh University students

The preliminary interview round took place on March 21 at Vinh University, within the framework of the 2017 Job Fair. The 2017 target for Vinh University is 60 people, of which 20% will be female. Information from Vinh University said that the program has recruited 50 students from more than 100 applications. Students who passed the preliminary round will continue to participate in the interview round by Israeli experts and undergo a health check.

This is a program for third-year students from the faculties of Biology, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Geography and Environmental Resources Management, with the Embassy of Israel working directly with Vinh University since 2012. Students participating in the program will work and intern at farms and businesses operating in the agricultural sector in Israel. At the same time, they will attend 4 days of school each week at the research center.

The program covers the cost of accommodation, meals, and study; students only pay for airfare and medical examinations. In addition, they are also paid by the company for their internship and work hours on the farm. After completing the program, students are granted an internship certificate in Israel and are committed to being prioritized for recruitment by TH Group.

In 2016, Vinh University had 43 students participating in this program. They are expected to return home in September 2017.
