"Golden opportunity" to promote investment, trade and tourism

(Baonghean.vn) - About 90 foreign representative agencies and 10 international organizations will come to work in Nghe An in the program "Meeting Localities - Diplomatic Corps" in 2015.

On the morning of May 11, at the working session to listen to and give opinions on the plan to organize the program "Meeting Localities - Diplomatic Corps" in 2015, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the working session and affirmed that this is a "golden opportunity" to promote investment, trade and tourism.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting and emphasized that the program "Meeting with Localities - Diplomatic Corps" held in Nghe An is a "golden opportunity" for contact, promotion, and investment and trade promotion.

The 2015 “Meeting with Localities and Diplomatic Corps” program for the North Central region is scheduled to take place from May 28-30, 2015, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with Nghe An province. This is an important diplomatic activity, with the participation of 80 foreign representative agencies and 10 international organizations, including the WB and JICA - the two partners with the largest ODA funding in Nghe An province. This conference also has the participation of Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue provinces.

Comrade Tran Ngoc Danh - Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs presented the contents, programs, and plans prepared for 90 diplomatic delegations to meet and work in Nghe An and leave good impressions.

At the meeting, leaders of the departments: Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade, Planning & Investment, Culture - Sports & Tourism, Labor - Invalids & Social Affairs, Economic Zone Management Board... reported to the Provincial People's Committee on the program, plan to organize official meetings and contents on introducing and promoting the potential and strengths of Nghe An, reception and logistics work to serve the conference. Some of the activities include: Visiting Kim Lien relic site, visiting some prominent production and business establishments, learning and enjoying Nghe Tinh folk songs, some other sightseeing and survey programs and private programs for the spouses of diplomatic delegations.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized the need to clearly recognize the importance of this conference in order to prepare and organize all contents and programs well. Although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the host, as the host locality, Nghe An must take responsibility for coordinating the organization carefully, not allowing any negligence to occur.

Through this conference, we can express our feelings and hospitality, leaving a good impression about the people and homeland of President Ho Chi Minh. We must create conditions to help international delegations access and learn about Nghe An during their working time and activities in Nghe An.

Organizing the program “Meeting Localities – Diplomatic Corps” in 2015 well is a good premise to create integration relationships, serve investment attraction activities as well as gain experience in investment promotion, promote foreign economic activities. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong noted that relevant departments and branches coordinate with press agencies to propagate so that cadres and people are properly aware of the meaning and importance of the major diplomatic event taking place in Nghe An.
