Equitization of 93 State-owned enterprises in 2012 6:08 PM, June 22, 2012

The Ministry of Finance has just announced a plan to restructure and equitize state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the 2011-2015 period, according to which 93 enterprises will be equitized in 2012 alone.

According to the reports of 4 Ministries, 9 Economic Groups, 10 Special State Corporations and 57 localities sent to the Ministry of Finance, as of June 20, 2012 on the plan to arrange and equitize State-owned enterprises in the period 2011 - 2015, the total number of State-owned enterprises implementing various forms of arrangement and equitization in the period 2011 - 2015 is 899 enterprises.

Of which, 367 enterprises were equitized; other forms of arrangement (transfer, sale, dissolution, bankruptcy, remaining as a one-member LLC, converting into a two-member LLC) were 532 enterprises.

The Ministry of Finance will continue to update and synthesize reporting data from ministries, branches, localities, economic groups, and state-owned corporations so that relevant agencies and organizations can coordinate and implement, and investors, organizations, and individuals, can be interested and grasp information.
