Kim Jong-Un's aunt still holds power after her husband's execution
Kim Kyong-Hui, the aunt of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un and wife of General Jang Song-Thaek, who was executed last week, remains a key figure in the Pyongyang regime.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on the evening of December 14 that North Korea has appointed Ms. Kim Kyong-Hui, 67 years old, as a member of the funeral committee of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to prepare for the funeral of Chairman of the WPK Central Inspection Commission Kim Kuk Tae.
