(Baonghean.vn) – From the afternoon of January 5, implementing the plan of the Provincial People's Committee, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team of Nghe An province began to inspect the compliance with regulations on ensuring food safety during the Dinh Dau Lunar New Year and the 2017 Spring Festival season in the area.

During the first inspection, the Delegation inspected and fined a large confectionery business in the area behind Vinh Market.

The interdisciplinary inspection team came to conduct post-inspection at Quang Phien confectionery store, located at Lot 139 - Long Chau new urban area, Vinh Tan ward.

In 2016, this store was fined many times by authorities.

Through inspection, this store did not have a certificate of food safety qualified facility, employee health certificate, or food safety knowledge certificate.

On physical inspection, the store did not have any measures to prevent insects and pests.

Many candies are transferred and dispensed incorrectly by the store.

Many other types of candy are not well preserved and are left haphazardly on the floor.

Some children's candies have no documentation and are of Chinese origin.

In addition, this store also sells expired goods, such as Ha Thanh heat-clearing tea.

This product expires in October 2016. The expiration date stamp is easy to erase, smudge, or correct.

The Inspection Team drew up a record of administrative violations and forced the facility owner to destroy expired products in the presence of the team and local residents.
