We arrived at the Khe Ran (Bong Khe) polling station at 7am this morning. At this time, almost all voters in the village had gathered. The national anthem resounded during the flag-raising ceremony. Village chief Lo Van Thang said: “For the past few days, we have been actively mobilizing the villagers to prepare mentally for election day. Today, everyone temporarily put aside their farming work to directly hold the ballot to exercise their civic rights.”

Mr. Lo Van Tinh (92 years old), the oldest voter in the village, confided: “I am old and my legs are not strong anymore. My children told me to stay home and vote for them. But I am still lucid and can still walk, so I still have to directly fulfill my duty.”
We continued to Trung Chinh village (Yen Khe). About an hour after the opening ceremony, most voters had arrived at the polling station to cast their votes. On the way, we passed through Trung Huong village, Nua village, To village (Yen Khe), Yen Thanh village, Met village (Luc Da), Xang village, Cang village, Xieng village, Thai Son village, Tan Son, Cua Rao (Mon Son), then up to Chi Khe, Chau Khe, Lang Khe communes, to the communes on the left bank of the Lam River such as Thach Ngan, Mau Duc, Don Phuc, Cam Lam, all joined in the bustling, exciting atmosphere of the big festival.

According to information from the Con Cuong District Election Committee, as of 9:00 a.m. this morning, more than 50% of the total number of voters in the district had participated in voting.
In Anh Son district, from the district center to the communes on the left bank such as Duc Son, Vinh Son, Lang Son, Tao Son, Hung Son, especially the communes in remote areas such as Tho Son, Binh Son, Thanh Son, Tam Son, all were bustling in the big festival. In particular, for some villages of the Thai ethnic group such as Cao Veu (Phuc Son), Bong (Thanh Son), O O, Gia Hop (Tuong Son), Khe Gat (Tam Son), Giap Gat (Binh Son), Nhan Tai, Nhan Tien (Cam Son), although located far from the center, traffic is difficult, travel is difficult, but thanks to good preparation, the election day went smoothly and successfully. On the faces of each person, there was joy and trust, hope through each ballot.

Comrade Dang Dinh Luc, Head of the Internal Affairs Department, Secretary of the Election Committee of Anh Son district said: "By 9:00 a.m., the election at all polling stations in the district was taking place normally, the work of directing, propagating, mobilizing and ensuring security and order was maintained regularly. Up to now, more than 70% of voters in the district have participated in voting."
