Con Cuong: 22nd District Sports and Cultural Congress

(Baonghean.vn) -Within the framework of the Mon Son - Luc Da Festival 2014 and the 83rd anniversary of the establishment of the first party cell in Mon Son commune - Con Cuong district (April 14, 1931 - April 14, 2014), on the 13th and 14th, the 22nd Con Cuong district Sports and Cultural Congress took place in Mon Son commune.

The sports festival and mass art performance were attended by over 1,000 athletes and actors from 13 communes, towns, agencies and units in the district.

At the Congress, athletes competed in 6 sports including: crossbow shooting, stick pushing, tug of war, shuttlecock throwing, volleyball (men and women), badminton (men and women) and table tennis. In addition to sports competitions, during the festival, there were also cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the first Party cell such as camping competition, culinary culture, beauty contest, learning about the history of the Nghe Tinh Soviet, and mass art performances of the whole district with 18 participating teams.
