Con Cuong: Rally to celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and opening of the Cultural and Sports Festival of Ethnic Groups

(Baonghean.vn) -The rally to celebrate the traditional day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2013) in the mountainous district of Con Cuong took place on the morning of March 26, 2013 at the district’s Cultural – Information – Sports Center. Along with that was the opening ceremony of the 21st Cultural – Sports Festival of the district’s ethnic groups.

This year's Con Cuong District Cultural and Sports Festival took place on March 26, 27 and 28 with the participation of hundreds of athletes and actors from 40 delegations, including communes, towns, and agencies located in Con Cuong District.

Also at the ceremony, 15 former Youth Volunteers with achievements in the resistance war and 8 outstanding Youth Union cadres in the district also received Commemorative Medals from the Central Youth Union.

After the opening ceremony, there was a sports competition between units and a mass art congress of ethnic groups in Con Cuong district.
