(Baonghean.vn) - Dozens of planting, harvesting and plowing machines have been distributed to poor and near-poor households in Con Cuong district to serve agricultural production.

On December 22, the Con Cuong District Rural Development Board coordinated with Dien Phuong Trading and Service Company Limited to distribute machinery and equipment for agricultural production to people participating in the project in 3 communes: Mon Son, Yen Khe and Chi Khe.
The allocation is part of the Project to support production development, livelihood diversification, and replication of poverty reduction models of Program 135.

The number of distributions in Mon Son commune is 15 sets of 4-row hand transplanters (no engine); 15 sets of Oshima 330 hand-held rice harvesters; in Yen Khe commune: 5 sets of Honda F210 soil milling machines, and in Chi Khe commune and 1 set of Oshima 330 hand-held rice harvester with a total State support budget of 194,850,000 VND.
The beneficiaries of the project are poor, near-poor and newly escaped poverty households. Before receiving the machines, the households are instructed by the technical staff of the supplying company on the process of disassembling, assembling, operating and using the hand-held rice harvester and the soil milling machine.
