During this year's summer vacation, the petite female student Ngo Thanh Hien - daughter of Professor Ngo Bao Chau - also participated with two works. Sharing with VTC News, Thanh Hien said that because this year's contest theme is "Living", she wants to record the most authentic images of each person's life. Hien also thinks that many people will choose the theme of Vietnam and its people, so she decided to bring some photos taken abroad to the exhibition to create a new look for the exhibition.

One of the two photos that Hien is very fond of is called “Good things come in small packages”. The photo was taken at a fountain in Chicago (USA) where Hien and her family live. Hien said about the photo: “I took this photo by chance on a rather hot day at a fountain in the city.ChicagoThe baby in the photo fell and got hurt while playing.

The baby’s parents were also standing nearby but did not help him stand up because they wanted him to do it himself. After that, the baby pulled up his hair, wiped his clothes and stood up to continue playing. In life, sometimes you have to learn to stand up after falling. That is the idea of this photo.”

“This girl impressed me with her colorful outfit. The yellow scarf was as bright as the sun. The blue cloth was like the color of the sky, making the girl stand out even more. At first, I didn’t pay attention, but when she suddenly passed by me, I suddenly felt emotional and took out my camera to take a picture,” Thanh Hien recounted the story of the second photo.
