In an interview with ABC News, David Beckham confided that his "heart ached" when he heard a son say he did not want to become a soccer player like his father.

"One of the three boys once said to me: 'Dad, I'm not sure if I want to pursue a career in football. Every time I go out on the field, I know people will say that I'm David Beckham's son and discuss whether I'm as good as you. And I'm not that good,'" he said.

The former footballer admitted that he wants his children to play football but only if they have fun while pursuing it.
