Former President Trump's eldest son proposes 'only way' to end Ukraine conflict
(Baonghean.vn) - The war between Russia and Ukraine must end through negotiations, and to convince President Volodymyr Zelensky's government to join the negotiations, Washington must stop sending money to Kiev - the eldest son of former US President Donald Trump suggested.

“Stop sending money,” Donald Trump Jr., 46, stressed. “That’s the only way to get (Ukraine) to the negotiating table, right?” The result of the $111 billion in economic and military aid Washington has provided to Kiev since February 2022 has been “the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, half of whom are probably indifferent to some political issues because they’re ethnically Russian anyway,” Trump Jr. argued.
“We are literally creating a billionaire oligarch class in Ukraine with whatever is being siphoned off… while Kiev sends young men to die as cannon fodder on the front lines because they don’t care,” Trump’s eldest son added. Despite all the Western aid, he asserted, Ukrainians “have never won, they probably never will” against Russia.
If his father, Donald Trump, returns to the White House after the November election, he will simply tell the government in Kiev: “Hey, you have a month left and if you don’t come to the table, it’s over,” the former president’s son said. “Guess what, Zelensky doesn’t stand a chance if we block the aid, so he’ll come to the table and (Moscow and Kiev) will come up with something,” Trump Jr. predicted.
On January 12, White House national security spokesman John Kirby admitted that the US support policy for Ukraine “has now been stopped.”
Earlier this week, President Zelensky again called on US politicians to abandon their aid blockade, claiming that he was now being forced to choose between paying pensions to 11 million people or buying weapons for the troops on the front lines. “We simply have to pay” for pensioners “because otherwise the elderly will die,” he said.
