Con Cuong Police: Seized nearly 50 kg of chicken of unknown origin
(Baonghean.vn) - At 4:30 a.m. on January 19, 2015, the patrol team of Con Cuong District Police discovered a truck with license plate 37V-3389 traveling from Do Luong to Con Cuong, driven by Nguyen Van Dung, born in 1976, residing in K4, Do Luong town, carrying nearly 50 kg of chicken meat of unknown origin.

Upon inspection, the task force discovered that the vehicle was carrying 2 cardboard boxes containing 24 frozen, butchered chickens (without heads), but the driver was unable to present documents proving their legal origin and had no quarantine certificate. The truck and the chickens were temporarily detained and handed over to the authorities for further investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
