Police help lost woman in Nghe An return to her family

(Baonghean.vn) - After going to China to work but being arrested by the police for not having documents, Ms. Thuong was later helped by the Tuong Duong District Police to return home after many days of being lost.

Tuong Duong District Police said that the unit had just handed over Ms. Oc Thi Huong (born in 1978, residing in Huoi Cut village, Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district) to her family.

Previously, Ms. Huong went to work in China but was arrested by the local police because she did not have documents. After several days of detention, Ms. Huong was taken by the Chinese police to Mong Cai border gate (Quang Ninh province) to be deported back to Vietnam.

However, because Ms. Huong was not alert, panicked, could not remember the way home, and had no money, she got lost for many days. On September 10, 2019, through social networks, Tuong Duong District Police learned the above information and proactively contacted and coordinated with Mong Cai Police (Quang Ninh) to bring Ms. Thuong home.

Afterwards, Tuong Duong District Police contacted and brought Ms. Huong back to reunite with her family. Ms. Huong's family was extremely happy and touched by the help of officers and soldiers of Tuong Duong District Police.
