Nam Dan police busted a major drug case

(Baonghean.vn) - After 4 months of establishing an investigation project, on the evening of April 21, 2015, Nam Dan District Police successfully solved a major drug trafficking case in the area.

At 7:10 p.m. on April 21, 2015, at Km31+900 National Highway 46 (in Xuan Hoa Nam Dan commune), Nam Dan District Police ambushed and broke up Project 415M, catching Phan Dinh Vinh, born in 1970, residing in Hamlet 7, Thanh Ha commune, Thanh Chuong district, red-handed, while transporting 25 marijuana cakes, a car, a knife, 3 cell phones and 30 million VND in cash.

Subject and evidence at the authorities

The subject is currently being detained by Nam Dan Police and the investigation is continuing. This is one of four drug cases discovered and arrested by the Nam Dan Police Criminal Investigation Team on criminal, economic and drug crimes in the first quarter of 2015 with the largest amount of drugs ever, in accordance with Circular 28 of the Ministry of Public Security on implementing a new investigation model in 2015./.
