1,200 cases of driver's license renewal
In recent days, the One-Stop Department of the Provincial Traffic Police Department has always been crowded with people coming to do procedures to issue and renew driving licenses, making this area the busiest work reception point.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ham Thang - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), implementing the direction of the Provincial Police Board of Directors, immediately upon receiving the task, the unit directed the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination and Issuance Team to quickly stabilize the organization and deploy the work in a scientific and effective manner, without affecting the normal activities of people and businesses.
With the motto "serving the people is the top priority", all officers and soldiers are imbued with the spirit of "no work, no hours", ensuring timely response to the need for issuing and renewing driving licenses, without interruption or delay.
In fact, to perform the task well and ensure no interruption in the handover and reception process, the Provincial Traffic Police Department had proactively coordinated with the Department of Transport to organize training courses on testing and issuing driving licenses for officers and soldiers directly performing this task. At the same time, the preparation of facilities, equipment and machinery was also carefully implemented.
In the early days, with the support of the Department of Transport officers to ensure the smooth reception of driver's license issuance and renewal, the Traffic Police Department promptly increased its human resources, mobilizing more officers and soldiers to ensure the reception and service of the people. Each step in the process, from guiding people to get a queue number, receiving documents, to paying fees, was enthusiastically guided by the Traffic Police officers, helping the procedure to take place quickly and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Giap, residing in Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district, shared: “When preparing to do the procedures, I was quite worried about having to wait for a long time due to the large number of people. However, in reality, I was guided very enthusiastically and thoughtfully by the traffic police officers. The steps were done quickly, without any hassle, I did not have to wait long.”
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a citizen who has just completed the procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses, also said: "Although the number of people coming to do procedures at the One-Stop Department of the Provincial Traffic Police Department is quite large, I find the working process quite convenient. In addition to receiving people directly, the Traffic Police Department also arranges officers to guide people through the steps of issuing and exchanging driving licenses online, helping to save time and reduce crowding."
According to the summary results, from March 1 to now, the One-Stop Department of the Provincial Traffic Police Department has received and processed a total of 1,202 driver's license renewal applications, including 811 cases done directly and 391 cases done online.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ham Thang - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police said: In the coming time, the Provincial Police will continue to expand and arrange more points to receive applications for driver's license renewal in the area to better serve the people.

Similarly, at the Provincial Police One-Stop Department in recent days, many people have come to resolve administrative procedures, including procedures for issuing criminal records. The Provincial Police Professional Records Department, with its proactive reception work, has quickly deployed the issuance of criminal records to people with quick procedures, in accordance with regulations, ensuring no interruptions or impacts on people's rights.

Performing the task of State management of criminal records and providing public services of issuing criminal records, the Professional Records Department, the Provincial Police Department undertakes the entire process from receiving citizens' requests to conducting verification, eliminating intermediate steps. The process of verifying and issuing criminal records is carried out quickly and effectively.
From March 1 to now, the Provincial Police Department's Professional Records Department has received and processed 1,226 administrative procedure files for issuing criminal records, including 564 files directly and 662 files online.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thi Bich Thuy - Deputy Head of the Provincial Police Department's Professional Records Department, implementing the direction of the Provincial Police Director, the unit has proactively researched and consulted on the development of a reception plan, at the same time, proposed necessary conditions for facilities, equipment and human resources. The Department has proactively assigned officers and soldiers to approach the work in a timely manner, ensuring stable and smooth operations, in order to conveniently serve people when they come to handle procedures.
Currently, the Provincial Police Department's Professional Records Department issues criminal records in four forms. In addition to going directly to the Provincial Police Department's One-Stop Department, people can carry out procedures via the VNeID application, the Public Service Portal and the Postal Service. However, in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police Department, in order to create maximum convenience for people, the Professional Records Department encourages the use of online public services and guides citizens to carry out procedures for issuing criminal records via the VNeID application.
With this form, people can still monitor the progress of the processing as well as the results of the application process, wherever they are. In case they want a paper copy, they can register, and the criminal record will be sent to their home, helping to save time and travel costs for citizens.
