Nghe An police reward 3 units for breaking up Project 312M and arresting a gang producing crystal meth
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 1, 2012, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police commended and rewarded three special task forces: PC47, PA71 and Vinh City Police who had just made outstanding achievements in destroying a large-scale methamphetamine production ring in Project 312M in Vinh City.
After a period of surveillance, at 1:30 p.m. on March 30, dozens of Nghe An police officers raided 3 different locations, urgently arresting 4 subjects: Le Thanh Hai (41 years old) residing at house number 98 - Van Duc Giai Street - Hung Binh Ward - Vinh City, Tang Thi Lan Phuong (38 years old) residing at room 113, building B3 Quang Trung apartment building, Mr. Le Thanh Minh, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nga (Hai's parents) residing at house 1, lane 1, Nguyen Canh Chan Street, block 12, Quang Trung, Vinh City along with many exhibits in the professional methamphetamine production line. The police force seized 1.3 kg of methamphetamine and a large quantity of chemicals, modern medicine, plastic cans, dryers, used to produce methamphetamine.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Nghe An Police, Colonel Lu Van Tuong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police praised the officers and soldiers of the 3 units for their excellent work in solving the case - the largest methamphetamine production case in the country to date. He congratulated the 3 task force teams: PC47, PA71 and Vinh City Police for their intelligent, decisive, timely and accurate actions, quickly solving the case. Although there were many units and detective officers participating in the case for a long time, the confidentiality factor was still ensured.
