Nghe An Police: Celebration of the heroic unit of the People's Armed Forces
(Baonghean) -On March 10, Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to celebrate the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department being awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the renovation period.

Over the years, the collective of officers and soldiers of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department CANA has been united, intelligent, brave, creative, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, achieving many outstanding achievements. Over the past 10 years (2000 - 2009), the Department has established and fought to eradicate 42 major drug crime lines and organizations, arrested 313 cases with 459 subjects, seized 211kg of opium, 35kg of heroin, 390kg of marijuana, 14,000 synthetic drug pills...
With outstanding achievements, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Police has been awarded 3 Military Exploit Medals of various ranks and the Military Exploit Medal of 3rd class; 22 officers and soldiers were awarded the Military Exploit Medal by the President; 17 comrades were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister, many comrades were awarded certificates of merit and certificates of merit. The unit has always achieved the title of "Determined to Win Unit", and was awarded the flag of "Leading Unit in the emulation movement for National Security" by the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People's Committee. Notably, on November 11, 2010, the President signed a decision to award the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" in the renovation period to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department CANA.
