Quynh Luu police arrested 3 suspects for property theft

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 19, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Trong Huynh - Deputy Chief of Quynh Luu District Police said that the agency is temporarily detaining 3 subjects for property theft.

Previously, at 2:00 a.m. on July 17, 2015, upon receiving a report from the public, Quynh Luu district police coordinated with Quynh Thuan commune police to arrest Doan Nhat Nam (born in 1995, hamlet 11, Quynh Hoa commune) while he was fleeing with an Airblade motorbike with license plate 005.23 that had just been stolen.

The Ari Blade motorbike stolen by Doan Nhat Nam is being confiscated at the police station.

Immediately afterwards, the subject Nam was taken by the district police to the People's Committee of Quynh Thuan commune to take a statement. Here, the subject confessed: Nam stole the motorbike from a family living in Quynh Hau commune. In addition, Nam also committed 4 other thefts and took away 7 cell phones, 3 laptops and 1 iPad. The total value of the property was over 60 million VND.

The subjects are being detained at the police station of Quynh Luu district.

In addition to the above case, Quynh Luu district police also arrested 02 cases, 02 subjects including: Pham The Viet, born in 1984, residing in hamlet 2, Quynh Hong commune and Vo Viet Quyen, born in 1987, residing in hamlet 9, Quynh Hoa for the crime of property theft. The seized evidence included mobile phones, computers and some other evidence, the total value of assets was nearly 15 million VND.

Currently, Quynh Luu district police are completing procedures and documents to soon bring the above 3 subjects to court./.
