Quynh Luu police urgently arrested 3 suspects for robbery

(Baonghean.vn) - After a period of undercover surveillance, in the early morning of May 7, 2015, the Investigation Agency of Quynh Luu District Police decided to urgently arrest 3 subjects: Nguyen Binh Thoa (born 1997), Nguyen Binh Thuan (born 1994) and Nguyen Binh Duong (born 1996), all residing in hamlets 7B and 2A, Quynh Chau commune, Quynh Luu district, for the crime of robbery.

Previously, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, on the slope bordering Ngoc Son and Quynh Chau communes, a group of young men appeared with quite dangerous actions, using motorbikes without license plates or fake license plates, taking advantage of the quiet noon or evening to use spray to control passersby and rob property. Within 5 days, the subjects carried out 3 robberies on April 30, May 1 and May 4.

Two of the three robbers are being detained at Quynh Luu District Police.

After receiving the report, the District Police directed the Criminal Investigation Team - Economic Crime and Drug Prevention to send experienced investigators and detectives to the area to monitor and grasp the situation. After nearly a week of monitoring, in the early morning of May 7, the Quynh Luu District Police decided to solve the case and urgently arrest the subject at his private home.

According to the report, 3 people were robbed and the stolen property included 3 phones and 15 million VND in cash. However, after searching the residence, only 2 phones and no cash were found. The subjects all had criminal records and used drugs.

At the investigation agency, the subjects bowed their heads and confessed their crimes. The case is being consolidated by the Investigation Agency of Quynh Luu District Police to be transferred to the Procuracy; at the same time, the investigation will continue and expand to include related subjects./.
